The Original Outdoor Clothing Company engaged us to develop new inspirational branding work that elevated the Outdoor company lifestyle brand in relationship to the two others, which were Woolrich John Rich and Woolrich Woolen Mills sub-brands operated in licensing agreements with the Italian-based Lavori. Our brand exploration work included strategy development and brand architecture work around labeling, campaign ideas and updated imagery for this iconic Pennsylvania-based heritage brand. We focused on and were inspired by the outdoor component of this core business unit still owned and operated by the family with a focus on unifying its message and communicating the commonality of the core brand attributes, while remaining considerate of the other two more upscale sub-brands, creating a language and voice that was in unison and resonated with its outdoor consumer.
